INVITATIONS for a Cause!

Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS)

We don’t often think about all of the different diseases that are in the world that we haven’t learned much about or that we don’t even know exist until something happens in your personal life.

Over the past 10 months, my fiancé has had numerous medical problems which cause him severe pain throughout his entire body, weak, nausea, loss of appetite, losing massive amounts of weight, tachycardia (rapid heart rate), depression, and the symptoms keep going on and on. After several emergency room visits, visits to our general physician, and numerous visits for testing to be done from specialists, no one was able to figure out what was going on with him. It was then decided it was time to go to the Mayo Clinic to get some help. He traveled to the Mayo Clinic located in Scottsdale, AZ where he was diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), which is considered to be a debilitating disease which is a Neurological Autonomic Dysfunction. Unfortunately, not much is known about this disease, and as of right now, there is no cure.

This is something that has really affected our lives and I strongly believe in helping any way I can to further the research on the study of POTS. For every order that is placed where an alternate non-profit organization has not been requested to be donated to, 5% of the total balance will be donated to the Mayo Clinic to further their research on POTS.
